Christmas 2015 - Journey of the Christmas Pelican

Farewell Class of 2015

Rooms Completed

Renovations near completion late 2015

Rooms are almost ready for us to move back into.  I thought I would join the meeting and pose for a "I'm totally involved in this meeting" photo.  Thanks to the builders who helped move our furniture to the storage container.

Class Renovations Week 1

So this is the day of reckoning.  The day when we see if all of our planning made any difference.  Will the kids be settled?  Will we be able to work as we usually do?  Will we be comfortable?  Will we have everything we need? Actually yeah.  The first week went pretty well.  We were warm.  Tables and spaces were awesome.  Beautiful indoor outdoor flow.  Lovely sun.  Not a lot changed for the kids and they seemed settled. First morning.  Everybody adjusts.  My nephew having breakfast as we set up the hall The kids settled into their new space easily and quickly.  We were lucky to be joined by James Hopkins on our first day in the hall.  Here are his thoughts.  James Hopkins Blog Post

Successful PLD

Gratitude for the gratitude Gifts from a grateful colleague after a successful PLD session.  Also it was fantastic to get positive feedback from other colleagues.  We are at the beginning of a journey and we have made a great start. Thanks also for the acknowledgement of the work that goes on in the background to keep colleagues comfortable in their challenges.  Big thanks to James Hopkins and to all participants.
