Renovations near completion late 2015

Rooms are almost ready for us to move back into.  I thought I would join the meeting and pose for a "I'm totally involved in this meeting" photo.  Thanks to the builders who helped move our furniture to the storage container.

Class Renovations Week 1

So this is the day of reckoning.  The day when we see if all of our planning made any difference.  Will the kids be settled?  Will we be able to work as we usually do?  Will we be comfortable?  Will we have everything we need? Actually yeah.  The first week went pretty well.  We were warm.  Tables and spaces were awesome.  Beautiful indoor outdoor flow.  Lovely sun.  Not a lot changed for the kids and they seemed settled. Classroom Renovations Day 0

Last day in our classes before turning it over to the builders.  Spent a long hard week and weekend moving out and preparing to be in the hall.  The move to the hall in itself is not a major ordeal.  The issue is being portable.  Being able to move into the hall and set up every morning and to pack up and clear the hall every afternoon.  It is about planning to secure 70 devices in a space that we have to move out of everyday.  It's about planning to store them somewhere secure in a very public space at morning teas and lunchtimes.  Making sure there are charging stations set up daily.  It's about planning to store the devices somewhere secure every night.  It's about having the resources we will need to teach and learn set up so that they can be stored and set up again at the beginning of each day.  You try the best you can to get these things ready, but in the end you never know how it will be.
