Classroom Renovations Day 0

Last day in our classes before turning it over to the builders.  Spent a long hard week and weekend moving out and preparing to be in the hall.  The move to the hall in itself is not a major ordeal.  The issue is being portable.  Being able to move into the hall and set up every morning and to pack up and clear the hall every afternoon.  It is about planning to secure 70 devices in a space that we have to move out of everyday.  It's about planning to store them somewhere secure in a very public space at morning teas and lunchtimes.  Making sure there are charging stations set up daily.  It's about planning to store the devices somewhere secure every night.  It's about having the resources we will need to teach and learn set up so that they can be stored and set up again at the beginning of each day.  You try the best you can to get these things ready, but in the end you never know how it will be.

  2. What a great piece of work. I enjoyed reading it. It reminds me of how our classroom got our new tables and new chairs just like you. Maybe you can use adjectives next time.
You can go on my blog if you have time.

Calendar Art

For our calendar art, we studied what makes a great photo. We looked at different techniques: fill the frame, rule of thirds, lines frame the shot, high angle, low angle and horizon lines. After planning our shot we took photos. Can you see the different photo techniques? Last day to order calendars: Friday 23rd September.
