Ms Corbett and Miss Laxa's Beep Test Progress

Here are my Beep Test results to date.  They started pretty low.  Actually they are still pretty low now.  However, I am happy that they are moving up.  These results are from 6 March to 8 April.  I keep injuring my calf.  I hurt the other one today.  I know, excuses excuses...     I've been researching ways to help me improve my results.  I look forward to getting back out there.   Ms Laxa has made fantastic progress.  Her short term aim is to get to Level 3. She was so close today. I am proud of her and motivated to get better.

Beep Test

We have been doing the Beep Test now for a few weeks.  Unfortunately we had a big break of about 2 weeks in between.  Twice now I have pulled my calf muscle.  I want to research about preventing that injury so I can run further.  I’m going to find a way to increase my current score of 2.4 to my goal of 5.1.   Please add the information you have found to improve your Beep Test Score.  Include your Lowest Score AND Current Score AND Your Goal .   Room 11 Paulette My lowest score is 1.4.  My current score is 2.4.  My goal is 5.1.  I Am frustrated because I keep pulling my calf muscle.  I think I have to warm up my muscles and stretch my calf before I run.  I will see what information I can find on the internet. Ayan My lowest  beep test score is 2.6. My highest score is 3.1.My goal  is 7.9 Kira My lowest beep test score I have ever gotten was a score of 4.7. I do not have a current score because I did not want to do the beep test today. My goal is to get up t

Making Connections - Weekend Sports

Bay Roskill Vikings Under 10s Tristan asked Miss Laxa and I to watch him play league on Saturday.  I thought it would be too early in the morning for me but I told him I would try my best.  I woke up at 8.00am so I decided to go.  When I got there I saw Kane.  Then I saw Raithe getting changed on the side.  When the boys were warming up with their coach, I saw William, Kayetan, Caleb and Tristan.  I was glad I went to watch them play. I wanted to cheer loudly and give “advice” but Miss Laxa wouldn’t let me!  Sad face!!!!  :-(      Room 11 Making Connections Ayan I dont play rugby but i try once and i tried getting the ball of my brother  but he is not that bad  and one day i saw some one playing rugby and they looked like they were fighting but they  dident there was some one on the ground and some wone was on checkthat person. Kira I do not play rugby but the connection I have to this is not about me but one time my mum had to pick up Grace because her mum

Drums

In Room 11, as part of our Reading Programme, we are learning to make connections to texts. Most days Ms Corbett shares photos with us. She writes a little blurb about her connection to the photo. We all share our connections to the photo and the text. Drums I was shopping at Albany in the weekend and I saw these cool drums.  I asked a little girl if she would like to have these in her classroom.  She said “Yes”.  I asked her what year level she was.  She was Year 8.  I would really like to buy some drums like this so we can do more interesting projects in our digital class.  Actually even if I didn’t have a digital class I would like to have a set of drums.  Now I have to save more money.  Remember?  I accidentally bought tickets to Justin Timberlake.  In MELBOURNE !!!!!!!!!!!!  Doh! (Like Homer Simpson)  Matua Jarrod thinks I should buy a better quality second hand set from Trade Me but I like these ones.  I like brand new stuff.  I don’t like spaces!!! Jokes.
